Unit 7( Assignment 1) Life Changing Events

People Changes After Something Bad Happens

I agree and disagree with this because people do often change after something bad happens, but the majority of the time that change does not last. People doesn't just change because of something bad happen sometimes it because they wanna change there life around or they feel like their not living life they want to live. They believe that they could do better. For instance say someone drop out of high school and there is nothing that they could do except for working at an gas stations or something, and so they decide they want to make some changes in life by going back to school to get their high school diploma to make a better life for them and their family. As you can see today many people change everyday for all sorts of reasons.

Preview Reflection Blog Post: When to Get Involved?Unit 6( Assigment 1)

Coming from me I think it's never okay to get into someone else's business. If you're not the subject of the conversation or if the situation has nothing to do with you, and it's not you. Then why bother. What someone else has going on doesn't concern you then you shouldn't have any say so in it. I know because when some tries to get into my business I gets very angry. So its never okay to get involved in someone elses business no matter what the problem is. It's also not right to run your mouth about someone elses business especially if it's something that you heard from someone else.

Assignment 1( Unit 5) The richest People In Our Country

There are rich people that I admire, and there are some that I envy. Most people in our country today works for their riches, but some work for theirs but in a dirty way. I consider them to be known as filthy rich, not in a good way. Because they became rich either selling drugs, bootlegging things and selling them illegal. While others work hard for theirs and those are the ones that I admire. I admire these people because they help out the community with there riches instead of just keeping it only for themselves when there are needy people in our country. Even though it’s there money that they worked hard for it’s nice to see some people in our society really cares enough about others to give their money out to help them instead of spending it all on theirself.

Assignment 1( Unit 4) Preview Reflecting Blog Post Fights!

The fight that I was involved in was hanging with a group of girls. What led up to this fight was that we were both listening to he say she say things. I have to admit that I didn't try to avoid the fight only because I was very angry. It happened at my old school which it started as an argument, and then I was approach by her. We were actually friends before the big misunderstanding. I didn't think that she would do something like that just because she heard something that I was suppose to have said. After the approach she push me and the fight started from there. The outcome was I won, but I felt bad about it because I knew that I had the choice to walk away and still be in school for the five days that I was suspended. Once we return back to school it was a little weird but then just like everyone says " fighting your problem out will bring you closer together"! That's what it did for us. We became something like best friends and we are still good friends till this very day.

Assignment1 ( Unit 3)

Growing up is both exciting and painful. Growing up is exciting because when you are younger you are not allowed to do most of the things that you want to do, like walk the streets with the big kids, go to clubs, spending the night at a friends house, and there lots more things that you can't do as a child that you may feel that should be able to do.So growing up can be very exciting cause you develop more and more everyday and then you become old enough to do the things that you wanted to do when you were younger.Growing up makes it exciting for me because I'm starting to feel more like a women, and i'm proud of myself because I have grown up to be more responsible and i'm not afraid to go for a challenge.
Growing up is painful because it becomes memories, and some of those memories can be painful. Remembering when you were a child and all of the fun exciting things you use to do, missing your childhood friends that can be painful because growing up can cause you to grow out of that friendship. It is mostly painful for females, because as they grow they have to go through a very painful development. Life is painful you have to go through getting your heart broken.

When Breaking The Law Is Justified Post (Unit @ Assignment 7)

Assignment 7: When Breaking the law is Justified Post

Back in American history many laws were being broken and not always being justified, only sometimes. Today in America laws still are being broken. American citizens break laws in order for the government to make it a better law. Some laws are just unfair and people feel that they have to break the law in order for the law to be fixed, and fair to everyone. Throughout American History the government wasn’t being sensitive when creating these regulations.

During the American Revolution the Britain had laws that were unfair to the colonists and they felt that they had to break the laws just to show the Britain’s that they were not for their unfair regulations. The Colonists wanted to become an independent nation without the British’s laws. The Britain’s were allowing people to stay in their homes without the colonists consents. They were also taxing the colonists for everything including their natural rights. The American colonists had to figure out a way to overthrow the government. So there was The Boston Tea Party which shipped tea to America and sold it to the colonists for 3 pennies a pound, but it was still going to be taxed. There was the Declaration of Independence that separated the American colonists from Britain and this caused a war to begin.

Even though we had accomplished our goals and was finally an independent nation. The African Americans were still not set free; most of the black population were still slaves and belonged to farmers in the 1830’s in Maryland working under the Underground Railroad. There came along a women name Harriet Tubman to the rescue who sewed and cooked to save enough money to rescue her family from slavery. She eventually helped 300 slaves gain freedom. Harriet Tubman became known as the Moses because she ventured 19 times into the South to alert escaped slaves of danger and give them directions to safe houses. So you see if it wasn’t for Harriet Tubman then there probably would be slaves still working under the Underground Railroad. Harriet Tubman did what she had to do because she saw her own kind was being treated unfairly because of the color of their skin, and she believed that it was an unjustified law that needed to be justified; so she broke the law. Soon after that it was an encouragement to other Black African Americans and they began to breaks laws.

So you see there is nothing wrong with breaking laws if it’s for a good cause. Some may disagree with that because they believe that a law should never be broken. As you can see the laws that were broken back then lead to something good, it gave everyone equal rights. Everyone then had to abide by the same rules and regulations. See laws were broken back then for independence and freedom. The freedom to give their consents, and to be free from slavery; it elimated all of the taxations that the colonists was being taxed for. Breaking the law changes many of people’s lives and it made our nation a better place. A place where everyone is treated the same.

Unit 2( Assignment 6) Primary Source Reflection Post

Boston Tea Party

I learned that the tea that was destroyed in The Boston Tea Party was contained in three ships and that they were lying near each other at Griffin Wharf, and surrounded by armed ships at war. The landing of the tea had to be on a certain day before December 17,1773.It really surprising to me just to see how important tea was back in the day, because here today it's not that big of a deal. I Also learned that during that time they threw tea overboard and the citizens of Boston gave small qualities of the tea to their families.Captain O' Conner was the Captain of the boat that carried the tea. I Kind of got the understanding that the Captain was taken into custody I'm not sure, but if so that was suprising because it's not to often that a Captain is taken into custody from his own ship. I guess we learn something new everday. The Captain had filled his coat pocket with tea if i'm correct, and an aged man slipped tea into his pocket as well. I see that alot of tea was being took. The next day after they had cleared the ship of tea they saw qualities of tea floating on the water. This was sort of interesting but it's good to know what was happening back in the day.

Assignment 1 ( Unit 2)

Five purposes of the Government:

Authority to make law
Adjudicate dispute
Issue Administrative decisions
Basic security
Public Order

Yes, I would be willing to because there has to be some control around, and if the government is not doing his job then someone should step up and take charge. If the government was not making laws then everything and everyone would be out of control.Without the government decisons and him not solving issues then nothing could ever be in place. I would join the revolution and make sure that I fulfill all of my duties.

Assignment 7( Unit One )

About the Duties of Husband and Wives

Back then Husbands and Wives were really the same as they are today.Reading this passage help me to understand what it means to commit to someone. I mean I knew before but from reading this passage it seemed as if I didn't know anything.I learned that Husbands and Wives should be patient towards each other, and here today Husbands and Wives have no patients towards one another only some people. What suprised me was that they called the husband the head of women. That's something I didn't really like because today no one is in charge their both in it together. I also learned that both husband and wife should severe their duties as marriage partners. So I see that everything was mostly the same in some parts but not them all.

Assignment 1(Unit One)

1. Immigrants come to the United States for many reasons for freedom and a new surrounding. Some may come because they believe that it would be a better place for their childrens to be. Often they come to start a new life. By coming to the United States immigrants can gain freedom as we know and also they will have more opputunities, and a better education for the young. The only thing that they may lose is their lifestyle that they had before.

2. I wouldn't immigrate anywhere because I love the United States. I don't think there could be any place better than here. It wouldn't be the same having a differnt lifestyle, change of acient, and having to start a new life. That's mainly what you're doing when immigrate to another country trying to start your life over with a fresh start. If something was to happen and everyone in the United States had to leave I would immigrate to Mexico. Because Mexicans lives in the United States and I kno some things about Mexico and their people.
